Data analysis is used by small businesses, retail companies, in medicine, and even in the world of sports. It’s a universal language and more important than ever before. It seems like an advanced concept but data analysis is really just a few ideas put into practice.

It is always required of a data analyst to retrieve data from one or more sources and prepare the data making it ready for numerical and categorical analysis. At its very core, data analysis means taking a business question or need and turning it into a data question. Then you will need to transform and analyze data to extract an answer to that question. Looking at it more critically, this is almost the entirety of the basic steps in the development of projects in technology. All technological innovations produced are neither just developed in the wave of the moment nor in a sudden flash, a series of procedures or steps are always taken which always involves the gathering and acquiring of user requirements, this practice is often carried out in different ways. Nonetheless, the bone of contention is data that has to be gathered through questions in the form of requirements which in turn forms the basis of the development process.
