Unboxing new SONY PS5 Gaming Console

It is here!!!!. The 5th Gaming console from SONY’s play station series. The PS5 has long been anticipated as the company termed it as “The future of gaming.”

Sony announced early last year that the PS5 controller is dubbed DualSense controller. It looked even more real at the PS5 games reveal event yesterday. We also got a first look at the PS5 DualSense Charging Station, HD camera, PS5 Media Remote, and a pair of headphones with 3D audio. Photos of those newly announced PS5 accessories will appear below.

The PS5 CONTROLLER AKA DUALSENSE

The PS5 controller design reveal includes some of what the leaks predicted: adaptive shoulder button triggers with haptic feedback, a built-in microphone so you can talk to friends without having to wear a headset, and a new ‘Create’ button that replaces the PS4 Share button.

In addition, Sony is moving the previous DualShock 4’s LED Lightbar from the top of the controller to the surrounding of the touchpad on the PS5. It’s supposed to give the LED a larger look and feel, according to the company.

What’s more the DualSense features a two-tone color scheme that’s black-and-white and devoid of color on the face buttons. Triangle, Circle, Square and Cross (or X) are still here, but they don’t sport their usual hues. The controller matches the PS5’s new striking design, which also adopts the two-tone color scheme.

THE HDCAMERA

The new HD Camera (which has dual 1080p lenses) is likely meant to replace the old PS4 camera accessory and is meant to let players stream footage from their living rooms while playing games — potentially making it easier for amateur streamers to live stream with a PS5.

PULSE 3D HEADSET

The Pulse 3D wireless headset takes the place of the PlayStation Gold wireless headset and offers 3D audio support — something that Sony has been pushing as a major feature for the PS5 — and dual noise-canceling microphones.

THE MEDIA CONTROLLER

The media remote, while resembling an ordinary remote, also features a built-in microphone for voice commands. There are also four unmarked buttons on the bottom of the remote, although it’s not clear what those are used for.

DUALSENSE CHARGING STATON

Lastly, the DualSense charging station does exactly what it says: charges up to two DualSense controllers at the same time. Interestingly, the charging station doesn’t appear to use the regular USB-C port located at the top of the controller to charge but instead connects through a separate accessory dock at the bottom. And of course, the design matches the black-and-white color scheme of the controllers and the console itself.

PRICING

Analyst predictions have placed the PS5 price in the region of $470 – $499 / £449 / AU$749, which would make sense given a generational leap as significant as Sony is currently touting.

We are just as excited as you are, tell us what you think about this post in the comments section.
