This is the First Smartphone in the World to have a 5-Camera System.

Now, for those who don’t care about the budget devices launched by HMD Global:

The company recently unveiled its latest high-end smartphone – the Nokia 9 PureView, the first smartphone in the world to have a 5-camera system on the rear. In other words, it’s the world’s first penta-camera smartphone

The device comes in a glass sandwich design, with Gorilla Glass 5 covering the front 5.99-inch PureDisplay and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 covering the back:

Notice the absence of a notch or punch hole?

Strange, right?

Anyway, at the back, we have two 12MP f/1.8 color sensors (RGB), and three 12MP f/1.8 monochrome sensors, that combined can capture 10 times more light than standard RGB sensors, and guys, all 5 cameras work together in creating a single shot.

That is not all, though. Every image captured by 9 PureView has 12.4 stops of dynamic range and a full scene 12MP depth map, plus you get the ability to save your pictures in an uncompressed RAW DNG format.

The Nokia 9 PureView will also allow you to switch to the three monochrome sensors and shoot black and white photos with the “native monochrome mode”.
